Tyler police say 1 dead in shooting outside bar

TYLER, Texas — One man has died after being shot outside an East Texas bar and police are seeking the public’s help in finding any suspects.

Tyler police on Sunday night announced a Crime Stoppers reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to arrests and charges.

Police say the fatal shooting happened early Sunday outside the Wild Bunch Club.

Sgt. William Sinclair says officers were dispatched to the area on reports of gunshots. Police were later notified by hospital officials about a wounded man transported by private vehicle.

Police say 30-year-old Brandon Deroyce Gray of Tyler underwent surgery but died.

Police are trying to determine what led to the gunfire and identify any possible suspects.
